We work on theoretical quantum information with focus on quantum sensing and communications. We also enjoy working on more fundamental concepts such as entanglement and non-Gaussianity. Our main physical platform is bosonic systems. We are currently collaborating with all quantum groups across University of Arizona campus, groups in ASU, and other groups in the USA and Europe.
Group Leader
Christos (Chris) Gagatsos is an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, University of Arizona. He joined the University of Arizona Wyant College of Optical Sciences in 2018 as a postdoctoral research associate and was promoted to assistant research professor in 2020. In 2023 he joined the ECE department as an assistant professor. Prior to his positions with the University of Arizona, Chris was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Warwick, UK. His research focuses on quantum technologies.
